'frat -U ten Lakeside's football squad gave the fans something to cheer about during the 1961 season. A really impressive record of five wins and one tie was chalked up by the boys under the expert guidance of head coach Chuck Adams. ADAMS INSTILLED A championship caliber of football and sportsmanship in the Lancer gridmen who gave it everything they had right down to the last second of the last game in which they tied with Northwood's Cardinals.
