A Kelly and Angela show off a Porshe at Brook- hill Camp. R A M T HIS CRUISING 'CX-'7 A TEENAGE REALITY One of the most popular pasttimes in Hot Springs is CR UISING. How do you cruise? First-find a car, second-get together with a friend, or two or three, third-crank up the radio, and fourth- E head for town. The usual run is down Central Ave- nue. Back and forth go all the local teens. McDonalds is a favorite place, but the Hot Spot is definitely Sonic. Here you can find out whois in town, who they are with, and where all the parties are. You see friends from differ- ent schools, or those who do not attend V' school. Of course, no cruising trip would be complete without at least one trip around the fountain. The fountain is a turning point for most cruisers and then it's back to Sonic, McDonalds, or K- Mart for the get-together and swapping of rides. Then off you go again, falling i into a routine. What fun! What excite- ment!! It's downtown Hot Springs at night. 4 4' my 'tial ' -- Lamar wants you to go cruising with him. M 10 ' Dana can't you get Bee to pick you up?

ls Steve our Little Bunny Fufu? RAM Tnrs '55 37 PLAYI . AN ACTIVITY EVERYONE CAN EXCEL IN. Playing. It is an activity in which every- one can excel. This type of activity does not require a large amount of knowledge nor a great deal of money. This kind of past-time can be performed with just a few or many people. However, the most appealing char- acteristic of this avoca tion is that many friends, as well as good relationships can be made while one participates in it. The re- laxed, easy-going atmosphere that accom- panies playing allows a person to lay aside both the pressures of school and society. We are all put upon this earth for a purpose. For everyone, one obligation is to touch another personis life in a positive way. By utilizing the opportunity that playing provides, we can all fulfill our obligation. Hopefully, playing and enjoying life will be it for all of us. Becky Bernard not only playing dangerously, but living dangerously.
