This year Lakeside Helded its first base- ball team in 30 years. Seventeen players with 7 seniors, 5 juniors, 3 sophomores, and 2 freshmen. Junior, Brian Hill, and sophomore, Da vid O'Briant, garnered all district honors in their first season. The , ttf A . me my , at two finished with 2.15 and 2.59 E.R.A.k respectively. Lakesidek opponents were Hot Springs High, Little Rock Mills, Lit- tle Rock McClellan, Bryant, J.A. Fair, Lake Hamilton, Ouachita High, Glen- wood, and Benton Harmony Grove. ANOTHER WINNING SEASO GIRLS TENNIS TEAM: Jepsen, DeAngelis, Stubblelield, Goza, Miller, Smith, Newton, Sutton, Malone, Brian, Williams, Conry Coach Ja ck Bridges Under the direction of Coach J ack Bridges, the Lakeside Tennis Team finished the year with a win by dou- bles partners Steven Burrough and Leeth Harper in the State AAA Tournament. This was the Hnale of an outstanding yearls record by the Lakeside Tennis Team. The boys' team Hnished the season with 7 wins and 1 loss. The girls' record was 7 wins and I draw. The boys' team besides being state doubles champi- ons were also runners-up in regional and state tournaments. The girls' team was regional champs and the state runner-up. With only three seniors graduating and Coach Bridges returning, the Lakeside RAM tennis team will be one excep- tional group of competitors in the next season on the courts.
