TRACK The 1984-85 Senior boys and girls track teams were small in numbers, but not small in desire. Both teams worked really hard this year. The girls team, coached by Jerry Rob- erts, was made up of' six girls. They were Senior Betsy Gillham, Junior Tanya King, and four sophomores: Vicki Skelton, Ka- ren Wenner, Dana Breshears, and Nicole Turner. A philosophy was adopted by the team that they would compete in areas of achievement which were mostly sprints and relays. We always finished among the top competitors. Having a young team we expect to do even better next year, Coach Roberts replied. The girls Hnished 3rd place in the 400 M relay and the 400 M dash 5th in the 800 M relay, and 6th in the High Jump during the District Meet. The boys team, coached by Coach Jones, was made up off' Seniors-Da vid Ba- ker, Don Clay, Kevin Golden, Randy Hill, Lamar Trieschmann, and John Woosley. 'Vilbsb xx , xf W , -x, .
