JR. GIRLS CONFERENCE CO- CHAMPS DISTRICT RUNNER-UP The 1984-85 Lakeside Junior Girls, :oached by 2nd year Head Coach Patrice Gillenwa ter, had a remarkable season this Vear. They compiled a 8-I2 season record and a 7-3 record in conference play. They ended their season in the finals of the Dis- rrict Tournament with a 2 pt. loss to Lake Hamilton. They were given the title of Conference Co-Champs and also District Runners-up. We congratulate these girls for these great accomplishments. JR. BGYS Coach Tommy White directed his first year team to a 5-I5 season record. The boys ended their season with a heartbreaking I pt. loss to Sheridan in the District Tournament. We congratulate these guys for their hard work and look forward to seeing them next year on the Senior High team. 'I' Team: Mike MCC urry, Brian Shields, Steven Dubriske, Michael Fischer, Doug Sanders, Bayard bert, Scott Tarkington, Mike Broyles, Susan Dubriske, Alan Anthony, J. J. Miller. COACH REYNOLDS Y The 1985 Golf team had an outstanding season. Early in the season, the Golf team ran off eight straight tournament victories, one of which was a victory over the class AAAA State Champions, Benton. The team finished the regular season with a record of 11 tirst and 2 second place Hn- ishes. Brett Foote, Bayard Gilbert, Mike Broyles, and JJ Miller each earned indi- vidual medalist honors in at least one regu- lar season tournament. At the District Tournament in Little Rock, the Rams ran away with the 5AAA South Championship by 20 strokes. Brett Foote was conference medalist for the third straight year and Mike Broyles was Runner-up medalist. The State Tournament was held at Hot Springs Country Club where the Rams fin- ished fourth. This was a very encouraging finish for team that will return 3 of its top 4 players. A
