This group is composed entirely of girls in grades 9-12. Choreography has been a new addition to the performing requirements of the Madrigals . In the AFS Variety Show the Madrigals, Bel Canto, and the full mixed Chorus performed. Twenty chorus students auditioned for all-region choir in November. Sixteen of these students made All Region with 3 students making first chair. Those making all region were: Susan I-Iood, Cyndy jordan fl st chairj, Terri Walker, Evonne Greene, Gaye Garner C1 st chairy, Jim johnson, Kathy Parker, Pam Rowe, Greg Smith, joel Rubert, jim Drake Randy Ford, and Eric Bremer flst chairj. F.H.A F.I-I.A. stands for Future I-Iomemakers of America. This organization has 90 members, ranging from grades 9-12. To become a member you must take home ec. for at least one year. At the beginning of the year we raised money through operation of a concession and by selling Stanley products . Our activities for the year included: A trip to Cajun's Wharf, luncheons in the home ec. room, Christmas Tea at I-I.S. Country Club, Mother- Daughter Banquet, and other school activities .
