Speech Lakeside Thespian Troupe Induction and Awards Program was held April 25 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. The Best Acting Award went to Pinky Few for his portrayal of C1arence Day in Life with Father. The Most Valuable Student Award went to Tom Williams. The Best Thespian Awards went to Lolly Elan and Tom Williams. Tommie Koonce, Keeley Ardman, Ann Rosenzweig, Susan Hood, Stephie Sturdy, Pinky Few and Gaye Garner were presented with Certificates of Recognition for outstanding service. Student Counci The Student Council has been active this year under the leadership of two new spon- sors, Ms. Grant and Ms. Tweedle, The group attended a leadership conference during the summer to prepare to work for the student body during the school year. Projects for the year include: The sale of blue and gold school jackets to high school, middle school, and elementaryg the showing of Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, and Marx Brothers films to both high school and middle schoolg a window wash at Grand and Central, football homecoming danceg Almost Anything Goesg and basketball homecoming dance.
