Basketball Homecoming Y :QQ ff sy, 9 y ' Hiytew' X Q., T! X was all 141: 'Ns Basketball homecoming week began with Sock Day on Monday. The Juniors sold spirit links and again the Freshmen Won. Sign Day, Boot Day, and Sweat Shirt Day were held after Monday and on Friday, February 4, which was Blue-Gold Day, faculty, students, parents, and alumni crowded into the field house for the afternoon ceremonies. The theme for the assembly was Around the World and Dale Greene served as Master of Cere- monies. To begin, the royalty and their escorts were presented while the Band played I Write the Songs. The cheerleaders raised Ram spirit with a few cheers and with a dance routine to TSOP. They also performed an amusing skit which brought laughter from everyone in the field house. The

Golddusters followed with a routine to Bionic Band. The Madrigals dedicated a medley to the senior basketball players and to all the Seniors of '77, The medley consisted of Fee1in' Groovy, People and l'd like to teach the world to sing. The freshmen cheerleaders also contributed to the cere- monies by performing a cheer. The juniors announced the winner of the spirit chain contest and the assembly was ended with the Alma Mater. That night a reception was held for the Royalty and the student council featured Kidz as the band for the dance. Lakeside Won their homecoming game with Sheridan. ,Ww-
