A Timely Afaif' Shannon George and john Utley Gina Fraysier and Teddy Plyler K' Q-'lk . monies. The first stage of the assembly was presentation of the royalty. White Hall Queen Shannon George was crowned by Co-Captain john Utley. The Band played I Write the Songs for the processional. The cheerleaders performed a routine to Free Ride followed by a Goldduster routine to TSOPO The Madrigals followed with a song and dance routine to the music of Pippin, The ninth grade cheerleaders then honored the royalty with a special cheer, and the Majorettes and Flag Team performed a routine to the Hustle and Basin Street Blues. The assembly was followed by a parade from the Sawmill Depot parking lot to the Fountain. That night a reception was held for the Royal ty followed by a dance sponsored by the Student Council. The band was Albatross. Al- though Lakeside lost their game to Arkadelphia, everyone enjoyed the festivities.

Cheerleaders sponsored a sign contest and Scott Smith and Kenny Breckenridge were the winners. Thursday night there was a bonfire at Leigh Smith's farm. On Friday, October 25, Lakeside students, faculty, parents, and alumni attended the homecoming assembly in Ram Field House. This was Blue -Gold Day.
