Reminiscing Homecoming Homecoming week kicked off with students dressing according to each day’s theme such as Punk Day. Sweat’s and Hairdo Day, Twin's Day, Big Day. and the all mighty Red and White Day. The traditional bonfire, given by the seniors was a big success with Tim Sturez being crowned Ugly Man 1982! Next, Homecoming Day began with the Lanccrcttes selling the traditional Homecoming Mums. Later that evening they also performed at pregamc. At half time the marching Lancers, cheered on by abundant school spirit, captivated the audience by performing arrangements of “Aztec Fire”, “El Gatotristc”, and selections from “Evita”. Excitement burst during the annual judging of class floats, which resulted on Seniors dominating first place. Highlighting the evening events, Amy Warner was honored with the crown of Homecoming Queen 1982. Capturing I982’s big victory the fighting Lancers downed Lake Michigan Catholic 18-0.
