Freshman Off To A Great Start The 1980-81 Freshmen cheerleading squad consisted of seven hard working, fun-loving girls. They cheered at all of the Frosh football and basketball games, sold programs at the JV and Varsity basketball games, and helped the Varsity squad with various fund raising projects. with other squads from area schools. This is the first time ever that a freshman squad has decided to compete. Their hard work paid off, and they came back with a 2nd place trophy. Carrie Wales also placed fourth out of fifty in the individual competition. On December 6, they journeyed to Coldwater to compete Freshman Cheerleaders starting at bottom left to right are: Anne Gain. Alternate; Shelly Graziano. Cheri Honan. Carrie Wales. Karen and Karol Clem, and Michelle Parks. Freshman Have Spirit! Top right; Anne cheers the little Lancers to victory. Far left; Michelle yell! Middle; Shelly ends an exciting cheer.
