The 1975-76 Lakeshore Pom-Pon squad consisted of 16 girls; 10 seniors and 6 juniors. The officers were Captain, Cindy Jellum; Co- Captain, Donna Bollenbach- er; Secretary, Mary Hunt; Treasurer, Kathy Meyer; and Mrs. Price, Advisor. The Pom-Pon Girls were very active during the sea- son. They performed at all home football and basketball games and made five sepa- rate performances at St. Joe, Coloma, Buchanan, Edwards- burg, and Cassopolls. They came up with several differ- ent ideas for their routines this year, such as a flash- light routine, a country girl routine, a routine with little girls, plus various steps in- cluding the Charleston, the Bump, and the Soupy Shuf- fle. Besides dancing, the Pom-Pon Girls marched in the Liberty Days Parade, performed as lions, horses, bears, and elephants in the Variety Show, and sponsored the Sponge Throw Booth at the Winter Carnival. They also sold Homecoming Mums to help pay for their new uniforms. In short, the season was very successful and above all, fun. 12 LAKESHORE
