COACHES CORNER The Lancer ’72-’73 J.V. basketball season began on a sour note, but ended excellent; losing our first three while winning the last two. Overall the team ended up 7-11. Leading scorers were Marty Mason (227 pts.-average 12.6) and Craig Andrews (208 pts.-average 11.5). Chris Henderson was top shot blocker with 25 rejects. Brad Peterson was outstanding in the free throw department, making 19 out of 20 shots for an amazing 95%. Dan Johnson, called by his close associates “The Varmit,” was the team leader in assists.
