Varsity Cheerstafli Another Excellen t Year K, ,V if K1 ,. Even though they worked under a lot of pressure, the Lakes Varsity Cheerstaff still came out on top without any problems. At the beginning of the year, the cheerstaff was in debt for their new uniforms. The cheerleaders held various fundraisers to pay them off Among them were bake sales, car washes, making the safari chains, selling boo grams and buttons. They worked at Fred Meyer as greeters. The team suffered a setback when Caroline Liable, a junior, moved back to her family in Texas. They wished her the best of luck. Like last year, two young men, Tom Coffey and Mike Fast, joined the group. They added zest to the routines. As Mrs. jordan said, There is a lot of talent in this group, and that will help them out in the future. 1.
