The Best to Be the Class of '83 mhe senior class of 1983 had a productive year. Under the leadership of president Doug Wilson, vice-president Amy Spakosky, and senator Matt Luke, the class showed its spirit by participating in organized events. Some of these events were the magazine drive, the safari chain, the paper drive, and rent-a-senior. New this year, the computer dating service was very popular and successful. After completing a compatibility questionaire, com- puters matched students with people who shared their interests. Also, advisory council helped the class officers plan these events and especially the senior prom. Asked how he felt about being the class president, Doug said, It's really great. It's fun but a lot of work, however, work has its rewards. I was pleased with the people who did participate because they showed a lot of effort. Taking advice and support from Mr. Gee, the ad- visor, the seniors brought to a close some of the best years of their lives!
