Counselors Provide Valuable Advice m isdom is one thing that the Lakes counselors had in plenty this year. Another is work. The counselors seemed to be constantly busy, working at least a 28 hour day. Whether it was taking care of schedules, setting up college conferences, or any of a score of things they did daily, the counselors always had a minute to pro- vide valuable advice to studen ts in need. Always searching for new ways to serve the Lancer comm unity, the counselors thought first of the students and counted their own needs as merely secondary. How often has a counselor given up his lunch hour to con- sult with and advise a student? These counselors who gave of themselves all year are examples of true Lancer spiri t. Qhqmfwlp tw f ff r .. New Administration Aids Lancers E he 1982-83 school year brought many changes. Pro- ba bl y the greatest change was in the ad- ministration with three new faces. Assuming the role of principal was Mr. john Price who brought along a new vice-principal, Mr. Hollister Gee, and a new administrative assistant, Robin Blankers. Initial questions about what other changes would follow were resolved by effi- cient efforts of the new team. As the year progressed ac- ceptance for the new administration grew as they realized their goals. Welcome to the Lancer family! 1. Mr. john Price, Principal 2. Mr. Hollister Gee, Vice-Principal 3.
