Girl's Softball Displays Competitive Spirit Skill and competitive spirit contributed to a successful 1980 season for the girl's softball team. Led by seven returning let- ter winners, including seniorsg Peggy Av- ril, Karla Burk, Carol Donohoe, Terri Ea- gan, and Julie Skar, this year's team showed the potential to be a top con- tender in the S.P.S.L. As shown in numerous games, place hitting was a strong asset. Dedication and cooperation proved to be a large advan- tage over their opponents.
