HOME ECONOMICS Home Economics was an important class for girls interested in planning their future homes. Girls studied sewing techniques, balancing and preparing meals, thrifty shopping, and important facts on managing a home. The course also enabled the students to pursue their particular interests and capabilities. Guiding the girls this year were two new teachers, Mrs. Jerilee Peterson and Mrs. Diane Fennema.
