Sophomore class President Mike Booth. CLASS OF f Vice-President Dave Merrit sneaks a smile for the camera. The election of Sophomore class officers formed the beginning of activities for the class of 772. The results of the elections gave Mike Booth Presidency, Dave Merrit Vice-Presidency, and acting Senator of the Sophomore class was Mark MacGoogan. The class of ,72 was welcomed at the beginning of the year with an orientation assembly. There they learned the traditions of Lakes. The first pep assembly was their introduction to traditional class competition and school spirit. By having the vast maj ority of students, they surpassed both juniors and seniors by winning the ffpepjugfy at their first pep assembly. Through the year they participated in different money-making projects and ended their first year with the annual party. Sophomores prove superior in strength overjuniorsi Mark MacGoogan, class Senator, addresses Sophomore Reps on plans for the class party.
