LINDA BOYCE KATHY SLAUGHTER EDITOR ASSISTANT EDITOR ttKeep the Ball Rollingf, the motto of the 1970 LEGEND staff, provided the inspiration and motivation needed to meet deadlines and get the book together. At the onset of the year, the class was fresh, full of ideas, and eager for a chance to express themselves; As the year progressed however, things changed somewhat. They were still fresh, but the meaning had taken on new implications and self-expression appeared everywhere except in print. The class dwindled to about a half-dozen steady members who worked together until the end. Joe Jensen personally assumed the staggering responsibility of Yearbook Photographer and Photography Editor. As much as could be done was accomplished during the class period, however it was in the wee hours of the morning that we were really good. Every picture came absurdly funny and captions began to take on double meanings. Hilarity reached a climax the morning of the final deadline and the pages faced the possibility of flying to the printers via private plane. So here it is for what its worth; but at least itts here. We hope you enjoy having it as much as we enj oyed conceiving it. DE HILES BUSINESS MANAGER
