May 8 was the evening students displayed work they had done throughout the year. Many departments combined to make this annual occasion successful and of interest to the public. The Home Economics department displayed garments created by the girls. The art exhibit featured many projects including oil paintings, charcoal sketches, sculpture and pottery. A commentary on their field trip to Italy was presented by the Latin Club. An Industrial Arts display included the excellent craftsmanship of students enrolled in Wood Shop, Mechanical Drawing, Graphic Arts, Architectural Drawing and Metal Working. A fashion show, drama presentation, gymnastics program, aquatic 'demonstration, and a modern dance routine were also presented. Various scholarships were available to deserving students. The funds for the scholarships were obtained through the Christmas Boutique and the Art Club calendar Sale. Larry Eisenbarth prepares his Artasia exhibit in Metal Shop.
