LETTERMEN The Letterments Club is organized to provide service to the school and to promote spirit. Some of the activities of the year were a spirit-promoting lemon suck, helping run sporting events, and the sponsoring of a spaghetti feed. The proceeds from the spaghetti dinner went toward a scholarship fund for the outstanding senior athlete 0f the year. GIRLSi LETTER CLUB G.A.A. and Girlsi Letter Club are organizations for girls interested in athletics. G.A.A. participated in five activity days and hosted one of them, the basketball sportsday for all the South Puget Sound G.A.A.,s, this year. G.A.A. met two times a week for various activities including softball, basketball, badminton, track, and swimming. Points were given for participation with a special awards day which was held in the spring when letters, certificates, and pins were given out. The Girlsi Letter Club, a new organization this year, gave girls who had earned letters a common interest. Throughout the year, they worked with the Lettermenis Club and co-sponsored the Spaghetti Dinner and a dance.
