GUAGE CLUBS The language clubs helped to promote understanding of people in other countries. They also generated interest in learning the customs of other lands. This year, the Latin Club has been active with various service projects such as sewing stuffed animals for underprivileged children and sending baked goods to a company of soldiers serving in Viet Nam. Two delegates from the club were sent to the 10-day Classics Study in Rome during Spring Vacation. A successful and rewarding year was ended with a banquet honoring Mrs. Nellermoe. The French Club, in addition to making rich, French foods for the International Dinner, discussed ideas for service and fund-raising projects. The German Club also participated in the International Dinner as well as planning projects to help pave the parking lot, The Spanish Club participated in the International Dinner and got together with the Spanish Club from Clover Park to exchange ideas.
