ENTER WITH MUSIC The Concert and Varsity Bands directed by Mr. Bantsari, and the Orchestra, directed by Mr. Schlieting, gave successful performances throughout the year. The Concert Band played in the Winter Band Concert February 12th. They also performed at pep assemblies and evening athletic events. Varsity Band performed for the student body and was featured in the Winter Band Concert. This year the Orchestra tried new ideas which proved valuable within their performances. Members of Orchestra and Band who perform with the Tacoma Youth Symphony will attend the International Festival of Youth Orchestras in St. Moritz, Switzerland, August 18th to the 30th. These members include: Elizabeth Fry, Esme Sauressig, Russ Hilmo, Marlene Korsmo, Bernadette Margin, Wade Thuline, Ross Taylor, and Mark Haglund. CONCERT BAND-Row 1: Vicki Bower, Roberta Rockett, Linda Holeman, Nancy Bailey, Theresa Dorsey, Cyndi Larrison, Joan Ready, Cindy Stevens, Betty Bailey, Greg Rediske.
