There were only two returning lettermen; Bruce Hamilton qn third base and Mike McBride in the outfield. Mike Keen prepares to steal 2nd base. The nine men faced a tough season with a 20 game schedule, sixteen of which were league games. The hardest opposition came from Federal Way and Auburn, as both teams had excellent pitchers. The Lancers fought tough and gave each opponent rough competition. The young Lancers provided the fans with excellent baseball action during the year.
