Mike Kubat, formerly of Czechoslovakia, is proud of his American citizenship. I have continually been asked: How do you like it here? I seldom find the appropriate words to reply, most often my throat constricts a Iittleand I am able to stammer: There is no comparison! And there isn't. The United States of America is a dreamland. In this dreamland there exists unique freedoms and unmatched prosperity for all. I am a convert to the American dream and I fully agree with Patrick Henry-'As for me, give me liberty or give me deathl' -Mike Ku bat L.H. . WELCOMES FOREIGN STUDENTS Life in America is very different from the life in Sweden, and the people in America are very easy to get to know. These are the words of senior Agneta Nlorin who is a foreign student from Halsingbdrg, Sweden. Agneta finds it fun to go to an American school and particularly enjoys all the extra activities. She is a member of Ushers Club, German Club, Ayah Club and F.T.A. Although Agneta won't receive credits for her year spent at Lakes, she says she is glad she was able to come to America as she has always wanted the opportunity to see America and go to an American school. Lakes has enjoyed having Agneta and Mike among our student body, and we sincerely wish them the best of luck in the future. Agneta Morin, foreign student from Halsingborg, Sweden
