S A ISH CLUB SPANISH CLUB - FRONT ROW: Nancy Bailey, Carmen, Cindy Manuel, Leslie Joslin, Mary Koneck, Julie Fletcher, Dianne Schimnowski. ROW 2: Karen Downey, Lil Verhaar, Kathy Killam, Sharon Tucker, Lisa Carman, Ruth Mounts, Vicki Atchison, Priscilla Pascua. ROW 3: Mrs. Rich, Jan Snyder, Annie Waiss, Burke Collier, Richard Tackett, Greg Rediske, William Mobley, Julie Oates. Spanish Club, with French Club, German Club. and Latin Club, participated in giving an International Dinner. The Spanish Club put on a clever and humorous skit. It also made a beautiful pinata, which was filled with candy, and according to tradition, was broken before the waiting audience who rushed to pick up their share of the goodies Spanish Club had a dinner with the Clover Park Spanish Club in February. M-z -we - L... ,WW ww, Mrs. Rich swings and hits the piriata at the International Dinner.

The court radiates smiles to the audience after their selection. Claudia Bucklew 1969 Homecoming Queen Five red roses were presented to Queen Claudia, each representing one of the five graduating classes of Lakes. Each attendant was also given a red rose trimmed with evergreen boughs and ribbon. Deep emotion is displayed by the Homecoming Court of 1969. Presented were Martha Nojd, Senior Attendant: Claudia Bucklew, Queen: Gary Tomasch, King: Renee Croan, Sophomore Attendantg and Pim Wimer, Junior Attendant.
