The Future Business Leaders of America and the Future Teachers of America are clubs that attempt to prepare young Americans for the careers that they have prepared themselves for in high school. The members of these clubs are shown various aspects of their planned vocations. They receive guidance in which courses to take while in high school. Field trips and guest speakers give a picture of what to expect when facing the world of business and provide a perspective view of the problems of education. f- f gms! Clowning around, the Key Club displays the results of their canned food drive. Key Club's most outstanding projects for the year included a successful canned food for the needy families of the Lakewood area and candy donations for the children at the Western State Child Center. Candy was collected by Halloween caroling. The club also escorted twenty Western State patients to the Lakes-Au burn football game. The Key Club, which is affiliated with the Lakewood Kiwanis Club, will also sponsor the Northwest All-Arabian Horseshow which is the second largest show of its kind in the country.
