LE DI GLAKE The effectiveness of a government depends upon the involvement and interest created by its leaders. It is not an organization working for the benefit of a few but for the majority. This year's student council worked with the student body in solving issues concerning Lakes High School. Students were given the chance to voice their opinions at Student Forums that were held at intervals throughout the year. Under the guidance of Ken Robertson, the Student Council bought blazers from the proceeds of a magazine sale, planned bigger and better dances, changed the Jr. Prom into an informal dance, and created an atmosphere of unity and involvement in student activities. an Becky Moore, A.S. B. Secretary, plays peek-a-boo around the school.
