HARPSHOOTER AIM FUR BULLS-EYE The sharpshooters of Lakes under the supervision of Coach Richard Sowers hit a second place in the Southern Division League. The team participated in other rifle matches besides league competition. At the Sea-Tac Junior Rifle Tournamentfor 1969, Lakes took first place in a two-man team event. The shooters participating were Doug Dearth and Kris Peterson. Gaining more points to be ahead of Clover Park and Peninsula, the team took second place inthe league. The sharpshooters of the team are John MaLain with 3743 Dale Nelson, 3663 and Doug Dearth, 363 out of an average of 400 points.
