OPH WORK HARD, LOOK GOOD The Sophomore Basketball Team season was one of ups and downs. The team at times seemed capable of doing excellent ball playing. lt had a few outstanding individuals which at times, showed a promise for the future. Coupled with sickness, discipline action, and at times, lack of desire, the young Lancers lost games to inferior opponents. The Lancers began their careers here at Lakes by defeating Olympia 45-31. From there, they played .500 ball until late in the season, when they ended up with a great game against Jefferson, winning by a score of 59- 38, resulting in a season record of 8 wins and 9 losses. Outstanding individuals whom we look forward to for our future success are: Wes Will, Nick Lister, Bob Hanft, Mike Lehman, and Mike Thurston. If these boys can develop a desire to work hard and put HOW effort forward, they can bring the Lancers a successful team.
