Tralned nurses are definitely needed to maintain a Golden Age no matter what era we are upon. The Future Nurses Club ls for all students who are Interested In this field or its branches. Its purpose is to give its members a better understanding of nursing school requirements and the expectations of a student nurse. Some actlvltles of this club are to vlslt hospitals and nursing schools so that the mem- bers may become better acquainted wlth the functions of these organlzatlons. As the Grecians played on their lyres for muslcal enioyment, we at Lakeland also play musical in- struments. The orchestra rewards each member with a felt letter and a quarter unit of credit toward graduation requirements. In addltlon to the festive sprlng concert, the orchestra may be heard at plays, Christmas time and at graduation exercises.
