The Girls' Athletic Association, under the supervision of Mrs. Jane Osborne, consists of members who are selected on a basis of personal character, citizenship, and ability to maintain an acceptable year- ly average of 85'M: and above in ph sical education. G.A.A. aims to develop better character in girls, give recognition to girls' athletics by promoting greater participation and spirit, keeping the best in- terest of the school in mind at all times. The program for i956-i957 included: drawing up a new con- stitution, varied athletic activities, faculty recreation night, i957 G.A.A. Show, a spring trip, and improvement of school spirit.
