The prime function of the Senior High G.O. is to help every student to become a better school citizen and to create better student- teacher elations. This year the G.O. held several successful projects including the Hun- garian Relief Drive, the Student Handbook, and the G.O. cards. The Junior High G.O. had one main plan for the year 1957. That plan, as everyone knows, has played a big part in Lakeland's enjoyment of games and dances. With the mone from our treasury we have replaced the oild soda machine with a big brand-new Coca-Cola machine. At the beginning of the school year we took care of the annual Curtiss Magazine drive. Some lucky students won top prizes, and the G.O. profited greatly. In May we will have a terrific mov- T ie dance fWe hopell That will be sponsored . .
