MR. CLAUDE THOMPSON has finally achieved his ambition-he got a wife. He is sponsor of the Key Club and adviser to the Junior Class, in addition to teach- ing general math and consumer's educa- tion classes. MRS. JESSlE MAE CHAMBERS, teacher of commercial courses, says that her pet peeve is girls who cross their knees and swing their foot pendulum fashion. She sponsors the Y-Teens and is a member of the Eastern Star. B . f i' x 1 I N n J-LB. X'- 'f X,-ffl MRS. FRANCES BARTOSEK, typing teacher, once considered being a nurse. She has one daughter and lives with her parents. She considers an ideal pupil co-operative, pleasant, and interesting. ' Rudeness, says MR. VERNON HALL, teacher of commercial courses, is my pet peeve. He has a wife and enjoys music and sports in his spare time. He sponsors the Key Club and once considered work- ing for Western Union or the railroad. 1 . ssl! Travel to Texas, New Mexico, and Okla- homa kept MRS. CATHRYN WILLIAMS, typing teacher, busy this summer. She has a husband and three fine sons. This explains her pet peeve-mud tracked on her clean kitchen floor. -... UU!! 000 QI I 'E -6'

A good football player who can pass all his work is COACH NURMl NELSON'S requirement for an ideal pupil. He is L Club adviser and teaches physical science. As head football coach, Nurrni claims his pet peeve is seeing the Dreadnaughts lose a game. ,Q IN How about that? is COACH JOHN STAPLES' favorite expression, His wife and three luscious little girls make up his family. He considered ioining the US. Marines but chose a teaching career in- stead, COACH JIM MlLLER, physical education teacher, naturally rates sports as his hobby. Students who try to soft-soap their Nay through school are his pet peeve, so watch Out boys! Coach Miller is married and has one son. 'ilffx F? 'CE 'C 9? A good garne of golf rates high as MISS MABEL CAPERTON'S favorite pas- time and 'nost definitely her hobby. Ad- vising the Lionettes, coaching the cheer- leaders, and teaching physical education leave her very little time for outside ac- tivities though At one time she con sidered rnedicine as a career MISS MARJORIE MITCHELL is kept quite busy with the GAA. and the newly formed girls' drill team, besides her gyrn classes Anv spare minutes she'll be found either fishing or playing golf, her hob- bies, People who don't listen to instruc- tions lyappers: are Teacher's pet peeve, as everyone knows,

His few spare moments are spent working in the adult and veteran schools, church work, and Lions Club. His two youngsters demand their share of his time. Unfriendly people and car door slarnmers rate first as pet peeves with GEORGE A JOHNSON, DCT teacher.
