It has been said that the only thing definite in.a changing world is change' itself. Since the ultimate of any learning experience is modification, it would seem that education is the stability factor of our society. What an awesome task then awaits the teacher! Fortunately, coupled with this responsibility is challenge, the acceptance of which returns countless dividends, Be always knowing of the fact that you are basic to progress and society. The mirage of the stiffened, taken-for granted teacher of the past is rapidly fading. In its place is being recreated the image of the versatile, socially acceptable and essential teacher, of course, this revolutionized picture yields greater pride in the profession , an essential prerequisite of a good teacher. I challenge you to be the teacher justifiably possesed of this pride. Working together with a spirit of co-operation always results in enjoyment. Based on this standard I have found this year extremely rewarding. May I express my most sincere appreciation to Mr. West, the Masters, and you, the student body, for making the school year 1966-67 the success which it was. . . ' Garth Stiller
