President ' s Oratory DEAR PEERS: Instead of being the usual President ' s message this is going to sound more like a thankyou note, for I don ' t feel that I could have achieved any measure of success were it not for the help I re- ceived from the members of this class. I will always remember your kind, ungrudging enthusiasm as you were, one by one, volunteered for membership on a committee or given the responsibility of organizing various events. I found that by sharing the load of responsibility the jobs were made more enjoyable and actually were completed. My special thanks to Lorna for her undying dedication to the servalence of our vast funds and to Bonnie Moore who helped to keep the first year students in line. In closing I would like to wish all of you happiness and the best of luck in the future. Please try to keep in touch. your fearless leader, NANCY D. MARKS

DEDICATION DURING OUR TWO YEARS IN THE LAKEHEAD UNIVERSITY LIBRARY TECH- NOLOGY PROGRAM WE HAVE BEEN PRIVILEGED TO KNOW ONE OF THE MOST OUTSTANDING OF THE FIRST GRADUATES FROM OUR COURSE. THIS RELATIONSHIP HAS NOT RESTRICTED ITSELF TO THE ACADEMIC FIELD BUT IN MANY CASES INCLUDES PERSONAL FRIENDSHIP. THIS YEAR IN PARTICULAR, AS LAB ASSISTANT SHE HAS UNGRUDGINGLY GIVEN US HER TIME AND ADVICE. FOR HER ASSISTANCE WHICH CANNOT FULLY BE REPAID, BUT HAS GUIDED US THROUGH OUR FINAL YEAR, WE ARE MOST GRATEFUL. TO CHARLOTTE, WHO IS ONE OF THE CROWD, WE DEDICATE THE GRAD- UATE ' 69
