Locked in our hearts, cherished experiences, But bound, in this book, with photographs and words, So that these memorable events, May be looked upon afterwards. - CHRIS WELCH FOREWORD Our theme this year is the passage of time. This is represented by the hour glass anda calendar which is used throughout the book. We sincerely hope that you enjoy this year's annual and hope too that in later years itwill bring back pleasant memories of your 1959-60 school year TABLE OF CONTENTS Faculty Sports Personalities Activities Organizations Classes Advertising WE DEDICATE our 1960 Bullfrog to one of Lake Worth's most valuable teachers. With little recog- nition, she has left an imprint of her hard work and devoted service on Lake Worth High School students. Besides teaching three classes of English, she also sponsors the freshman class. Her most outstanding ac- complishment is the fact that she has spon- sored the annualstaff and paper staff for the past five years. For these reasons and many others we could not put down on paper, we dedicate our annual to, Mrs. Jean Lister. Teachers influence our lives more than we ever know. We often forget their hard work and diligence. But this year we hope to impress the students with the importance of their purpose. We sincerely thank our faculty for such a wonderful year. yA is ‘| Be vane. pis 4 Superintendent Mr. R. L. Hodges has served as Superintendent of the Lake Worth Independent School District for the past ten years. During this time six buildings including a gym have been built. The football stadium and baseball field have also been erected. These accomplishments would be incomplete without the personal contact and friendship he has given every student at Lake Worth High School. MR, O, D.
