Q 1 1 N f L A' , 5 ' Foreword IN this year of 1945-1916, the first time our nation has been at peace since we have been in high school, Lake Wfashington students have made the transition from a school-at-war to a school working-for-peace. Cone are the war bond drives, the scrap-collecting contests, and above all else-further gold stars to be added to the service flag. We have placed increased emphasis on sports and activities with the formation of a baseball team, two complete tennis teams, and a drill team. Plans for the new high school and the War Memorial Stadium were further advanced. A year of expanded club activities was marked by successful dances, banquets, and outstanding assemblies. ln every respect, it has been a good year-one that we shall remember with pride each time we read again these Reveillc pages.
