PAT NELSON One of the most active clubs on our campus is the school Garden Club. This year has found the group completing the installation of an underground water sprinkler system which was begun three years ago. The completed sprinkler system has cost approxi- mately 5675. Funds for the project were secured mainly from the annual sale of Christmas cards and imprinted stationery. ' Throughout the year, members of the Garden Club have rendered various services. They have kept flowers in the administrative offices, decorated the stage for band concerts and programs, and furnished flowers for the P.T.A. meetings and other gatherings. They had 56 entries in the Flower Show sponsored by the city Garden Clubs. Members of the club on a school holiday enjoyed an all day trip to Silver Springs, and later in the year made a field trip to Lake Fairview Nursery at Orlando, and the Mead Botanical Gardens at Winter Park. Later that afternoon, they enjoyed a hamburger fry at Sanlando Springs. MEMBERS I-lellon ,Barton. joan Brackin. Nelda Campbell. Margaret Chapman. Helen Connelly, Billy Coullette, Louise Franklin.
