Daniel, who plans the programs, sets the dates on the school calendar, so that activities will not coin- cide, directs the stage staff and accomplishes a million other little things which, left undone, would make it im Jossible l' r Q s l View to run smoothly. I o so comp ex an institution as Lake lt is the constant eflorts of Mr. Daniel to keep the machinery running smoothly that makes it possible lor so many traditions to be carried on durin a school year. Hlithout some one as untiring as he is these line memories of hi 'h I . ,, , g school life at Lake View would be marred by confusion and interference. 'I rimble Bovd, principal ol' Luke View I-ligh School since Mary 1918. The National Honor Society, 'lhe Man Festival, the Spring' and Full Music Festivals are ll few ol' the new activities that have become at pzirt ol Luke View's traditions during' his ZlLlllllIllSUi2l1flOIl. Lust yezu' the emphasis was upon the importance of environment upon building clizirticter and resulted in Ll gigantic rehzibilitzition progrzim which included remodeling ol' much ol the building :ind instzilling' :in elevzitor. 'lihe finishing touches were added when the new furniture begun to arrive lust lull. lt was not until llzuiuttry that the new Social Room was completely furnished. Back ol this I entire project was Mr. boyd's plztnning, directing, and completing. 'I'his spring, Dress Up XVeek was lIlZlllgll1'2ll6tl to develop in the students an ztwztieiiess ol tht importztnce ol good tztste in dress, cleanliness and nezitness. Such tin ztwttreness is ll positive step to- wards the development of personality. More rehztbilitzttion plans are now being made. During the summer the Bois' Locker Room and the RU l'CI quarters will be completely remodeled. XYhen this is finished, plztns lor complete decor-gr tion ol' the entire building, inside :ind out, will be put into action. 19
