The Lake View service tlag was bought by the PTA. and as each former student leaves for the services, his star is added to the white field ot the flag. In the Assembly l-lall there are flags of the United Nations which were purchased with the proceeds ot a special Tag Day, sponsored by the PTA. They are a constant reminder of our united efforts with these countries in the Winning ot this war. l Page 29

0 The Civic Forum is a group of girls and boys who meet weekly to further their insight in current affairs. The group is sponsored by Miss Florence Gumbiner, who takes an active interest in the affairs of the club. The sessions are supplemented by trips to interesting places.
