0 The Girl Reserves is an organization, the purpose of which is to face life squarely, and to find and give the best. The club is sponsored by the Y.W.C.A. which sends an advisor to guide the girls in every way possible. Miss Hartman is our school advisor, and much credit should be given to her for her friendly co-opera- tion. I lt is to create, maintain, and extend high standards ot character that the Hi-Y is organized. Under the capable guidance ot lvlr. Altred E. Crepin ot the Lake View faculty, the l-li-Y accomplishes its purpose. Each boy within the l-li-Y strives to be an exemplitication of our ideals and to observe the plattorm, clean speech, clean sports, clean scholarship, and clean living. Membership in the club is not restricted but is limited. l-li-Y meetings are held on Thursday evenings at the Wilson Ave. Y.lVl.C.A. 0 The Civic Forum is a group of girls and boys who meet weekly to further their insight in current affairs. The group is sponsored by Miss Florence Gumbiner, who takes an active interest in the affairs of the club. The sessions are supplemented by trips to interesting places.
