The shining 1983 season for the Hawk- ettes was filled with emotion, accomplished goals, and a lot of dedication. One re- turning starter was joined by a lot of experience and a goal in 1983. Pride was on our side as the 2 Hawkettes captured their 13th straight Bo-Coon title, won their 114th confer- ence game in a row, and boasted the 1 defense in the state. Winfield-Mt. Union will be remembered, but 19-6 at Veteran's Auditorium and 24-1 for the season makes us proud.
