CLASS SONG Up Where We Belong August 25, 1982, the first day of school; the first day of our senior year. We gathered in the library to elect officers, (President, Bret Kruthoff; Vice-President, Cynthia Meyer; and Secretary-Treasurer, Kelli Meyer), elect Student Council representatives (Diane Hauser and Donnie Brandt), and hear the Handbook read to us one last time. We welcomed four new mem- bers to our class—Jody Pudenz.Miguel Linares, Magnus Lindgren, and Tina Martensson. Soon everyone was busy with Homecoming— building a float and attending skit practice. The hard work paid off as the skit won first place and the float third. ITED tests were taken for the last time. Ranking in the 92nd percentile nationally, the class received a full day off from school. 37
