NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY LEFT TO RIGHT: Donna Morenz, Nan- cy Raine, Steve Rice, Peggy Auen, Mike Kelly, Diane Morenz, John Flink, Su- zanne Green, Pat Bruns, Marilyn Flink, Kim Keiser. The National Honor Society proclaimed four new members into its selective organization. The new members, which are chosen by the faculty for their service, leadership, character, and scholastic abilities were as follows: Nancy Raine, Marilyn Flink, Kim Keiser, and Donna Morenz. Associate members selected last year on probation are Peggy Auen and Diane Morenz. Following the special initiation for the new members, in which the old members present the honor which is bestowed upon each student when they are selected for this society, a refresh- ment period was enjoyed by each member and his or her family.

All home matches for the Lake View-Auburn teams were played at the Spring Lake Golf and Country Club. The boys' team journeyed to Harlan to play in the Sectional Tournament and our girls' team play- ed at Denison in District .competition. Individual honors were as fol- lows: Rosemary Johnson was medalist at each of the four dual meets, Dennis Holdcroft was medalist April 19, and Greg Onstot was runner- up medalist in dual competition on May 12 and May 21 and was runner- up medalist at the Sac County Invitational Meet. Golf Lettermen for the 1965 season are Rosemary Johnson, Gail Wetzstein, Becky Dankel, Marsha Kirkhart, Greg Onstot, Chuck Lier- man, Dennis Holdcroft, and Robert Baird.
