PRESIDENT..........................Mike Schoneboom VICE-PRESIDENT...........Chuck Lierman SECRETARY...........................Pat Bobenmoyer TREASURER....................Steve Rice The Student Council was composed of thirteen members who represented all of the students in school affairs. The Student Coun- cil promoted better school spirit and relationship between the stu- dents and the faculty. During the year the Student Council attended the District Workshop at Sioux City and the State Student Council Convention at Iowa City. The Student Council tried to adopt a school dress code and worked on clean up tasks around the school. Although a small group, the Student Council accomplished a lot.

The bon fire for homecoming was built by the Freshmen. The theme of their float was Cage Um . Their candidate for FFA Sweetheart was Becky Dankel. This year the LVA Library Club has the distinction of having every one of its members serve as student assistants in the High School library. To promote library interest, the bulletin board was decorated and displays were made by the club members.
