The council followed the example of past councils and sponsored the traditional functions. The council planned and ran the entire homecoming program. Homecom- ing buttons were sold to help with the cost. The Continentals provided music for the dance which closed a successful homecoming. In September, Mitch Stock, Mike Schoneboom, Barbara Stehr, and Donna Morenz, were delegates to the Iowa Student Council Convention at Ames. The day was spent attending discussion groups and electing the State officers. The group was accompanied by their sponsor, Mr. Anderson. The annual Snoball party was again sponsored by the council. Following a movie, there was the usual dancing and gift exchange.
