SECOND ROW: Albert The Future Farmers of America is a National organization of, by, and for boys studying vocation- al agriculture. It was organized in November, 1928 to provide further training in farmer-citizenship. The members of this organization learn to conduct and take part in a public meetinggto speak in public, to buy and sell cooperatively, to solve their own problems, to finance themselves, and to assume civic responsibility. The F.F.A. exists today be- cause of a cooperative spirit and a desire on the part of boys, 14 to 21 years of age, to prepare themselves for farming through vocational agri- culture, to have a national organization of their own in which they receive practical business expe- rience, and enjoy the fellowhip of one another.
