, fm YY, f t 4 ' i ' .ff-I ji . -wr:-:mf ' H A .RV We J Little Extra Seniors Meet Expenses inancing the senior year presented problems for most seniors. The cost of any senior's year depended on the student. Caps and gowns, graduation invitations, year- books, memory books, and senior portraits made up most of the student's individual expenses. I don't mind buying these items, because these keepsakes will have personal value a few years down the road, said Brian Kibiloski. Yet it seems to the senior that this is not enough. Each year it seems that seniors need extra money for different items sold during the school year. These items ranged from small things such as candy, mugs, or any item with '8'7 on it to the larger items such as the senior class group picture. l've spent quite a bit of money on senior trips, like to Padre Island, Six Flags, and skiing. l've also visited various colleges. l'm willing to spend more money even when l'm just out on the town, to help make this year more memorable, said Kristi Word. Even though it was possible for a student to graduate without spen- ding extra money, it would provide for a very dull year. Shana Baker said, lt's worth it. You only graduate once. For many people it is their last year of school. The idea of free education was not completely true this year. While some seniors went through high school spending very little, the majori- ty spent a great deal to make their graduating year their finest. I Dawn Morrell 10 ' Seniors are . .
